Where BombBomb Video Works within Outreach
The Outreach + BombBomb Video integration allows you to easily upload or record a video within any Outreach email, snippet, template, and sequence compose window. This applies not just to the Outreach desktop application, but also the Outreach Chrome Extension. (Note: Outreach only supports Google Chrome. Using different browsers may result in inconsistencies and it is not recommended.)
BombBomb will track video plays as a unique action within the Outreach tracking feed, allowing you to both filter your engagements by BombBomb videos watched and trigger automated actions from BombBomb video plays.
2 Simple Steps to More Humanized Emails
Record or Select Your Video
Once you’ve hooked up the BombBomb Video integration within Outreach, pressing the BombBomb logo within any compose window will immediately activate the BombBomb Video recorder within Outreach.
Within the BombBomb Recorder you can:
- Start a live webcam recording
- Record your screen
- Upload a video
- Select a video from your library
- Change your camera/mic settings
Time Saving Bonus: BombBomb’s patent-pending video uploader encodes your video while you’re recording it, eliminating the time typically spent waiting for your video to upload to the cloud before being able to send and play it. We’re here to make your day more efficient, NOT slow down your process.
Step 2 [Optional]: Choose Your Thumbnail
Regardless if you upload or record a video, BombBomb will automatically create a clickable, 3-second animated preview of your video to embed within your email. If you record a video, you have the option to customize this.
After you hit stop on your video, you’ll be given the options to save, re-record, or edit your video thumbnail. If you’d like to replace the 3-second animated preview with a custom, still-image thumbnail, you can capture a new thumbnail with your webcam using the “Thumbnail” button.
Hovering over the button will activate your webcam and clicking “Thumbnail” will instantly capture and save a new image. This can be done unlimited times until you’re happy.
Whenever you’re ready, click “Save.” Your video will then be automatically embedded wherever your cursor was located within your Outreach email compose window. And just like that, you’re done!
Note: BombBomb Video will always clearly display the length of the video on your thumbnail or animated preview.
