Top 10 Neighborhood and Community Video Creators
Congratulations to the top 10 community and neighborhood video performers in real estate for 2017, as well as to those 5 who earned honorable mentions. We were impressed by the creativity used to showcase different neighborhoods and local events. These top 10 are video pioneers, as many brokers and agents are not using community in their video marketing. This is a big area for growth, and one that we expect more real estate professional will begin to invest in.
1 Marguerite Martin
Windermere Professional Partners, Tacoma, WA
Marguerite is the creator of the phenomenal community website MoveToTacoma.com. She often collaborates with realtor Anne Jones on the most creative neighborhood videos around. Marguerite wins this category because her videos are personable, informative, well-done, and easily accessible. Marguerite bolsters her community presence with videos on YouTube and across social media, as well as a Move To Tacoma podcast.
She lives out her belief that each neighborhood is unique by choosing to specialize in downtown Tacoma. Instead of trying to cover the whole city, Marguerite is a self-proclaimed “matchmaker,” helping clients find the perfect agent for the home and community of their dreams.
2 Richard Silver

Richard Silver and the Torontoism Team wow with 10 all-star neighborhood videos and a polished neighborhood website. With his great presence on camera, Richard talks potential buyers through the strengths of each neighborhood in a relaxed and relatable manner. The quality of each neighborhood video looks professionally done. In addition, the strong featuring of Richard himself makes viewers feel like they are getting intimate access to the the leader of this great team.

Dana Green’s website features a clean, clickable map that takes visitors to different pages for each neighborhood in Lafayette, CA. One of things that makes Dana’s neighborhood pages even more valuable is that they include listings for each neighborhood. Dana even created a stellar evergreen video for the greater Lafayette area on YouTube that’s generated thousands of views.
5 The Katzen Team

Frances Katzen shows her knowledge of New York real estate through well-crafted neighborhood videos. Easily found on their website, YouTube, and social media, the Katzen Team videos are awesome because they feature Frances, describe communities in detail, and feature modern and appealing videography. The Katzen Team videos have a cool factor about them, which is appropriate for the city they represent.
6 Beth Waller
Team Waller, Front Royal, VA
Beth hosts two community-oriented video series called Town Tip Thursday and What Matters Warren. In more than 100 Town Tip Thursday videos, Beth interviews local businesspeople in Warren County, NJ. Beth’s passion for her community goes beyond selling real estate, as evidenced by her philanthropic organization What Matters. She even opens her office up to host community-oriented meetings at no cost!
