Until then, we’ve provided a major tip from each our CRMs! Below, you’ll find the most important feature you should look for when selecting your real estate CRM.
1. Wise Agent
Start off by writing down what your main motivation inspired you to initially search for a CRM. Next, make a list of features that you find important when selecting your software. Then make a list of all the other technologies you are currently using like Gmail, DropBox, ect. because you will want to make sure those tools are integrated and work with your new CRM. You also may find you can drop some of the current tools you are paying for because they are included in your new CRM. Getting opinions from professionals you trust is valuable, but you should not base your decision on their recommendations entirely. Everyone runs their business differently, it’s important to make sure your CRM fits your needs. Get a demo and trial of each one and compare them to make sure you pick the one that is right for you. It’s worth taking the time to do your own research because it will save you a lot of time later.
When considering new technology tools, it’s helpful to identify your biggest challenges and biggest strengths as a real estate agent. The idea is to figure out what tasks could be automated or made easier for you in your business so that you can spend more time on the things you do best.
3. Follow up Boss
Check reviews online whether through Google, G2 Crowd, or through the companies Facebook page. If you’re active in the social media groups that are specifically comprised of real estate agents, we recommend reaching out to those networks and asking a question like, “what should I spend my money on for my real estate business?” Moreover, if you work on a real estate team, we recommend reaching out to another team that works much like your own to see if they recommend any tools as well.
Choosing the right real estate CRM for your business can be a major challenge. There are so many options available, and each one offers a different set of features. How do you identify which product will be the most effective at keeping you organized and helping you stay in touch? Create yourself a handy checklist to help you choose the real estate CRM and marketing system that checks off all the right boxes.
The best CRM is the one that “you” use. Recommendations, social proof, smooth talking salespeople, feature lists, ect – those are all great data points. But it’s up to you to take in all those suggestions, try out the appropriate products, and figure out what fits YOU in YOUR business. Most importantly, do not be afraid to pick a different CRM, as opposed to just selecting the CRM that’s most popular.
