3 Ways to Grow Your Business with BombBomb
“I wanted to share with you three things that have helped me grow my business thanks to the BombBomb platform,” Kelly explains off the top of this outstanding video …
Tip 1. Grow Your Business by Sending Product or Service Videos
For real estate agents, the product is typically a home you’re listing or a neighborhood in which you specialize. The service is you – your expertise, knowledge, customer experience, and similar.
Kelly makes professional listing videos and community tours. They’re produced, shot, and edited incredibly well, which is important to her and her brand.
In addition to putting them in YouTube, on listing pages, in social media, and on her website, she also uploads them into BombBomb to send them out.
“BombBomb allows me to send the videos to my network of agents, my sphere, and anyone who I meet who’s interested in the house. And the best part is it’s trackable.”
Targeted sending and follow up based on tracking are the primary differentiators between BombBomb video email and the other places to share the video.

“This has been a game-changer,” Kelly says.
Every Monday, Kelly blocks time in her schedule to record and send personal, one-to-one videos to people she met over the weekend and to “any leads who haven’t converted yet to clients.”
People she meets at open houses. New online leads. Responsive buyer and seller leads. Non-responsive leads.
Reaching out one-to-one is a great way to initiate conversations. It’s personal, human, differentiating, and effective.
“This really works. Seeing and hearing me, and not just reading an email, and hearing their name and something I learned about them shows them this is not a canned video and that I really do want to connect with them.”
Sharing her time and paying her attention in this way is meaningful. Time and attention are among the most valuable things we have. And that’s why this approach works.
“This has converted lots of leads into closings and current clients.”
So, even though she has the ability to produce absolutely top shelf video productions, she blocks time in her schedule to record and send simple webcam videos, too.

EXAMPLE: Open House Follow Up
This follow up is simple and conversational. It’s like leaving a voicemail, but it includes her full self and she gets alerts when they open, click, and play.
- Says their names right off the top
- Reminds them when and where they connected
- Update about the specific property
- Inquires about what exactly they’re seeking
- Offers a new, similar property
- Offers an email alert for their area
- Describes other nice areas
- Closes warmly

EXAMPLE: Zillow Follow Up
Again, the video’s simple and conversational – she’s putting a face to the name, differentiating herself from competitors, and working to build trust and become this person’s agent of choice for the home purchase.
Rather than seeking her specifically, this person inquired on one of Kelly’s listings. So, they’re looking for a home more than an agent at this point. A touch like this shifts that dynamic and brings Kelly in as a local expert and potentially a trusted advisor.
It’s also clever to tie this video touch to your voicemail. You can send either message first, but reference the other in both (let them know you’re sending a video email in the voicemail and let them know you’re leaving a voicemail in the video email).
- Pairs it with a voicemail and refers to the voicemail to increase response
- Specifically mentions Zillow and the listing
- Makes herself available to help with the home search overall
- Offers a variety of communication channels
- Adds some insight into the current state of the market
- Promises value no matter the buying timeline

Takeaway: A “perfect” video won’t convert more leads.
Many of our customers are improving lead conversion with webcam and mobile videos that don’t have high production value, but do have personal attention, thought, and care.
3. Grow Your Business by Staying Top of Mind
Kin to some of her targeted listing and neighborhood videos, Kelly produces and sends out the LeClair Real Estate Reels every two weeks.
With this effort, she tries to provide “free, useful content about the local real estate market, tips for the process, answers to common questions.”
Doing this monthly or semi-monthly, you’re staying top of mind in a relevant way.
For Kelly, these video email sends demonstrate her expertise and build propinquity with people in her database.
“When you’re sending out BombBomb emails, focus on the headlines. That’s the subject line in the email and the line right above the video player,” Kelly advises.
“Think like a newspaper or TV headline and make it short and concise with action verbs. And also numbers – people love lists and tend to click and watch if it’s a list – like 5 Ways to Sell Your House Faster or 3 Ways BombBomb Has Helped Grow My Business.”
